Good day, we currently have an Android application and to facilitate the troubleshooting
over the phone we would like to create a simple troubleshooting app that can be installed.
Bascilcy it shoud run basic tests and give a error / ok icon in a simple list. When you click on the error, it alert a simple explanation and redirects the user to the correct activity to fix the problem. The tests are : 1) Airplane mode is on --> Error: link to change the airplane mode intent 2) WIFI adapter is disabled ---> Error: link to enable the adapter. 3) 3g is disabled ---> Error: linkk to enble the adapter. 4) GPS adapter is disabled ---> Error: link to enable the adapter 5) No Connectiviry ---> Show a message that explain to reboot the phone. it should be 1 or 2 activity max. I want to be enable to easily disable these tests. I propose creating a class for each test and putting them in a ArrayList that I can easily modify. Keep it simple as possible as I will include it in the app directly. When you run the test, I will need to log the results in a txt file saved on the SDCARD. It is pretty straigth forward and easy for a good Android developper. **** No Titanium or Appgap. It needs to be programmed in JAVA using the SDK. It should work with 2.2 and more. |
