We have a Joomla 1.5x website using a highly customized (thousands of hours of work) event registration system, based on DT register. We have a very long delay in authenticating login, re-directing to event rsvp page. Authentication for login and directing you the event rsvp form is taking 20-30+ seconds, even on a very fast 35+mb fiber optic internet connection. It used to take less than 5 seconds, up until about 2 months ago. Current developer cannot identifying the problem. When this happens: When you click on register now or invitation and are already logged in, eventually taking you to the actual event rsvp form. When you are not logged on, click on register now or invitation, takes you to the landing page, you click on guest or partner, you fill in your email and password and click login, taking you eventually to the actual event rsvp form. ALL OF THESE SCENARIOS ONLY ON FIRST LOAD OF INVITATION/REGISTER NOW ON PC, EVEN CLEARLING CACHE OR TESTING SAME INVITATION/REGISTER NOW ON OTHER BROWSER WILL WORK SECOND TIME. YOU CAN NOT TEST THE SAME EVENT TWICE IN SAME BROWSER OR OTHER BROWSER EVEN IF YOU CLEAR CACHE. ONLY HAPPENS ON FIRST LOAD OF THE EVENT PER PC. It is happening in FF 8, IE 8, Chrome, and Safari.
