You can start with wordpress EasySMS plugin. Most of the code would be same except the way it connect to sms gateway. The main features we are looking for are as follows.1. Members can subscribe to a post (having category X), when a post with category X is updated or newly published, only subscribers are sent a SMS text message. This would allow the admin to send a SMS message "now" or when the post set time to auto publish has triggered.2. Users would be grouped by WP access levels to segregate subscription levels, utilizing the UAC plugin.3. Site admins should able to send bulk SMS by groups.4. A send/receive SMS shortcode be available, This would allow the placement of being able to send and receive SMS text from within a post, page or PHP/HTML widget.---------- end , , ,
