Are you a "Rockstar" helpdesk engineer with loads of server & network skills? Do you feel un-appreciated or have you become burned-out in your current position? Looking for something more fun and exciting that allows you to work in your PJs from home? Are you someone who actually LIKES people and LOVES helping those not-so-fortunate souls who tend to need some computer help? Well, look no further, cuz we've got the J.O.B for you, my friend!

IT Services firm is in search of a part-time help desk technician who is able to work from home. We are looking for a POSITIVE & well-rounded person who likes to engage our clients and has a solid technical background (3 years minimum) and/or is currently enrolled in a college computer science program.
Applicant must possess the following skills:

• Must have an Industry-standard technical certification (e.g. A+, MCP, CCNA, etc.)
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable, recent help desk or technical support experience working with Windows Server (2000-2008), Windows Client OSs (2000-Windows7), MS Office Suites (2000-2007), Exchange Server/Outlook; applicant should also be familiar with general line-of-business applications (e.g. Quickbooks, etc.)
• Must have a pleasant demeanor, and be able to “smile” through the phone
• Must enjoy working with various personality traits & have a huge amount of patience.
• Must have high speed internet and a reliable Windows XP (or newer) PC at their home and be able to work in an UNDISTURBED environment free of noise & outside distractions.

Previous helpdesk experience a plus. Familiarity with LabTech (or other RMM tools), ConnectWise and previous IT consulting experience is a HUGE advantage to possibly being hired. Must be available M-F, 1PM– 6pm ET (25 hours/week) to answer phones, enter tickets into tracking system, triage client emergencies, dispatch some service calls, provide Level 1 & Level 2 phone-based technical support, escalate issues as necessary, etc.
