The primary responsibility of a Web Developer is to work on web project cases and website
design development from .PSD files to Content Management Systems such as Wordpress or
Drupal. Secondary responsibilities of a Web/Website Developer, in order of importance, are completing "cases" and "tasks" from Support Queue. Requirements * Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript * Strong knowledge of content management systems, including Drupal or WordPress * Demonstrated ability to build functional, standards-compliant websites from design files using these technologies * Proficiency with other languages, such as ASP or XML, a plus * 2-4 years of web development experience required Software knowledge of the following: * Photoshop * Flash and FLV knowledge and implementation a plus What you will be doing: * Cutting edge Web development for an Internet Marketing Firm * Combination of architecture, design and implementation * Building websites in an open source content management system * Working with a team to develop new ideas and add enhancements to existing websites |
