Job Description: Teleca is looking for a Software Test Engineer with expertise in Testing/Integration for in-vehicle infotainment system (IVI) development projects. This role will require close coordination with customers and project managers. Test software and perform analysis to ensure that software products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards. Develop and apply customized test procedures for the organization's products. This position requires that the candidate shall; 1. Engage closely with customers 2. Perform test and verification support. 3. Advise on customer technical requirement, functionality qualification needs and serve as customer testing interface. 4. Prepare appropriate test schedules, plans and technical coordination. 5. Test case development and execution for hardware/software platform validation, functional units, test script development, script running and debugging. 6. Perform analysis of problems found and prepare reports for management review. Initially, this position will be based at the customer site within the Detroit Metro area following 2 weeks of client training at an out of state location. Requirements: Formal Education: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent Required Experience: • 5+ years Test/Integration experience. • 5+ years experience in IVI. • 3+ years advanced experience in one or more languages: C, C++, Visual C++, Python, LUA, Java. • Good knowledge of in-car networks (CAN, MOST, LVDS, etc.). • Experience in source code analysis tools (Lint, Splint, Sparse, etc.). • Experience in defect management and issue tracking. • Good understanding of embedded software development. • Ability to assimilate, digest and understand large amounts of data. • Strong leadership with the ability to mentor and motivate team members. • Knowledge of Android, MeeGo, and Linux is a plus.
